South Pole develops and implements comprehensive emission reduction projects and strategies that turn climate action into long-term business opportunities for companies, governments and organizations around the world.

South Pole helps clients achieve their sustainability targets and build back better. This includes setting Climate Neutrality & Net Zero targets and catalyzing the necessary financing for related actions. Renewable energy and nature-based solutions offer a (cost-) effective and efficient means to reaching climate neutrality & Net Zero milestones – and, in the process, hedge against global climate risks, build competitive advantage and brand, and create measurable value within and beyond a company’s own operations.

Initially focused on developing and selling high-quality carbon credits, we’ve come a long way from a purely project-driven company to what we are today: the world’s leading provider of climate solutions for private, public and nonprofit organizations.

Our team includes seasoned experts in climate change, renewable energy, forests and land use, water, and sustainable cities and buildings. Based on our local knowledge and global reach, we tailor our solutions to your needs and facilitate cooperation between partners in various domains of sustainability.

Every day, through 23 separate global offices across all six continents, we demonstrate the value of sustainable solutions for our clients – from the United Nations, to leading global financial institutions, to top notch consumer goods brands, and more.
